Preface: Introduction and Plan

Welcome to Frivolous Grievances. I’m your host, Kyle Rogers. I am a City Letter Carrier and I will do my best to help give you information that will help you be a better union participant. As of this writing I am the Sergeant at Arms of Branch 2214 out of Longview, Washington. Our branch laughs about it since they didn’t have one for a long time because of a lack of need and I only ran for the position because I’m still learning and don’t want to accidentally end up in a position I am not prepared for and then ruin someone’s life because I failed to protect them from Management. Baby Steps. That’s actually why I am starting this podcast. I’ve learned that the Post Office and NALC has a lot of strict rules. Uniformity is not one of them. Knowing the rules….. also not one of them. Ok. Enough typing. Time to start talking.
